Creatives designing for creatives make for good teamwork. Within a remaining tenant space that boasted high ceilings, and exposed structure, lee CALISTI architecture+design designed this 1,225 square-foot tenant improvement project for Railshop (formerly First-8). This growing digital services design agency creates high-quality web design, content creation, and digital advertising. The project, completed in early 2023, delivered the needed studio and office space by dividing the small space into two primary zones – private offices and a studio.

To achieve the desired image to support Railshop’s brand, we kept the structure exposed and specified a dark color to hide it as the new lowered LED lighting illuminates the space below. The charcoal-stained concrete floors, saturated wall colors, a brick feature wall, and large windows provide a varied but attractive backdrop for photoshoots, videos, and other creative work.
