We believe architecture is an art that communicates to people in powerful and profound ways. Therefore, we are dedicated to designing projects that enhance the life and memory of the people who inhabit and experience them, while respecting the environment that contains them. Our passion for design coupled with our technical and artistic backgrounds provides a balanced experience level ideal for any type of development or project.

Founded in 2003, lee CALISTI architecture+design is an architectural firm focused on work that is relevant, contemporary and sensitively designed involving new construction, adaptive reuse and renovations. The firm is devoted to attentive service in tandem with thoughtful, quality and responsible design that addresses the broadest audience and social context.

Our collaborative approach engages the client and consultants during the entire design process. We also believe that contractors, crafts persons, vendors and all other participants can contribute at all levels of the design process. A patient, considerate process with respectful exchanges between all stakeholders leads to the best decision making and authentic, mature work.

The process is driven not by style, but by an early analysis and interpretation of the client’s needs through careful consideration of the site and program, exploration of space, materials and creative ways to meet the budget. We search to develop clear, distinguished work informed by the craft of construction, sustainability, culture and technology. It is our belief that every project is unique, thus each design response should be diverse and a reflection of the participants involved. It is our goal to exceed the client’s vision despite the most stringent budgets.

Our experience is with commercial, institutional and residential projects, in adaptive re-use and new construction, working with private clients, institutions and community groups. We seek clients of similar values who wish to partner with us on their journey.
